Fruit and Treats

"The fruit basket is wonderful! I am enjoying the delicious fruit & the scrumptious chocolate! Thank you so much for the gift. It is hard to find good, whole fruit in this hospital."Those are my sister's words of praise for the fruit and chocolate gift basket my siblings and I (who all live in Texas) sent to the hospital for her while her husband is recovering from surgery. Whenever family members or close friends are staying with their loved ones in a hospital, I send fruit/crackers/cheese/chocolate baskets to sustain them, but the baskets are also gifts to encourage and let family and friends know they are loved during a stressful time. Thank you, The Flower Garden, for the beautiful, delicious basket and for making sure the basket was delivered to my sister, even though the very day you delivered it, my brother- in -law was transferred back to ICU! Your delivery person went the extra mile to get the basket to my sister, and for that I am thankful. I will definitely use your shop whenever my family in Atlanta needs cheering up.

The flowers that arrived were lovely, and the recipient did indeed love them. However, the delivery person did not call first as requested, and I was not pleased with the web site order page, as it did not disclose the delivery charge amount ($15) until after the order was processed, nor did it mention the "first time order charge ($9.99)" until the order was processed. I would not have added the $5 'support our shop' gift had I known about the first-time order charge, and was not pleased at over $40 added on to the $65 arrangement.

She said it was the most beautiful arrangement she had ever seen.
